PROCESS CONFIGURATION OPTIONS - NARROW WEB PRINTING
Whether used as a manual system where camera positioning needs to be done by hand or as a motorized system with remote alignment, UniPRINT is surpasses the specifications of many other systems in its price range. UniPRINT is ideal for register control or narrow web applications such as label printing.
Model 100
The 100 is the ideal system for narrow web machines. With its specially designed light chamber and fixed 90 degree camera rotation achieves a very large 100 x 130 mm field of view in a compact size.
Back Strobe
Optional back strobe illumination is ideal for monitoring front to back registration. This is an extra strobe mounted behind the web and synchronised with the UniPRINT camera. For translucent webs, the back strobe provides illumination through the web allowing print on both the front and back of the web to be viewed simultaneously.
Dual Camera
Do you have a web that is printed on both sides, or the back of the packaging material is to be cold-sealed? The Dual Camera options allow you to check the quality of both sides at the same time. A dual camera system is typically installed so that Camera 1 views the front side of the web and Camera 2 views the back side of the web. It works with all models, however both cameras must be the same model. A dual-camera system cannot be used for positioning the front and back to each other. Here the Back Strobe is the better option.
