Feldmann to provide technical knowledge and support to Unilux customers
Saddle Brook, NJ JANUARY 19, 2017 Unilux, the world's leading designer and manufacturer of strobe lights for surface inspection in the metals, printing/converting, and papermaking industries, today announced the addition of John Feldmann to their worldwide sales network. Mr. Feldmann will be Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast, assisting Unilux customers from Virginia to Maine.
"John is a welcome addition to the Unilux team," said Tom Herold, VP Sales-Americas. "His vast experience in our industry along with intimate knowledge of manufacturing in the Northeast make him a great fit to provide more responsive support to our customers and facilitate selection of the right inspection light for their application."
John brings over 25 years of sales and service experience in the printing, converting, paper and metals industries working specifically in the Northeast. John started his career with Nimcor selling Air Shafts. He has also helped converters to improve the efficiency of their processes and reduce waste with Maxcess (Tidland, Fife, MAGPOWR) and Erhardt & Leimer.
"I'm thrilled to be part of the Unilux team," said John Feldmann. "As the technology leader in stroboscopic inspection, Unilux products offer outstanding benefits to a variety of manufacturing sectors. I look forward to being part of the continued success of the company."
Unilux inspection lights use the stroboscopic effect to freeze images of sections of webs moving at full production speed, making the smallest of defects clearly visible. This enables operators to use their knowledge of the product and printing process to determine the cause of the defect and take appropriate action to fix the problem or stop expensive, value-added processes to reduce waste.
